What Fuel should I use on my stove?
Good quality, dry/ well-seasoned of 20% moisture or less, clean (not painted, contaminated or pressure-treated)* wood should be used to ensure your stove is working at optimum.
*Whilst it might be tempting to get rid of the old skirting boards or broken fence posts, wood that is contaminated with paints and preservative chemicals should never be burned in your stove. Contaminated wood releases chemicals that damage the stove, liner and of course the environment.
